Thinking about graduate school or professional programs? Getting ready to apply? Not sure where to start? Career Services is here to help! This session is open to both current students and alumni regardless of your career goals and where you are at in the exploration or application process.
 
During this workshop, you will learn about:

  • Relevant supporting documents when applying to graduate school or professional programs

  • The difference between Resume and CV and how to use it appropriately in an application 

  • How to secure professional and/or academic references for applications

  • Identifying standardized tests in the preparation process and provide resources 

  • How to prepare and write a strong personal statement or letter of intent

  • How Career Services can help you when preparing to apply to graduate schools or professional programs

How to Attend

Register on this mySuccess event post. On May 15, those who register for this session will be sent a Zoom link 2 hours before the start of the workshop. The link will only allow one sign-in attempt per device. 

What to Expect

This workshop will consist of PowerPoint slides (visible via a shared screen), interactive polls, discussion questions, and opportunity to seek support or feedback on their personal statement or letter of intent.
