Are you looking to polish your resume and make a lasting impression? Join this interactive resume workshop designed to help you craft a compelling and professional resume. Whether you're applying for jobs or internships, or preparing for the Fall Career & Networking Fair coming up on Wednesday, October 15, this session will guide you through best practices, formatting tips, and strategies to highlight your skills and experiences effectively.

How to Attend

Register on this event post and the Zoom meeting ID, password, and link to join will be sent 2 hours before the session is set to take place.

What to Expect

This session will walk you through the essentials of building a strong resume and cover letter, with practical tips you can apply right away. You'll learn: 

  • Resume Writing Best Practices: How to format your resume, highlight your strengths, and tailor it to specific roles or industries. 
  • Cover Letter Strategies: What to include, how to structure it, and how to make your letter complement your resume.

How to Prepare

  • Ensure your Zoom account is up to date, your electronic device is charged, and your internet connection is reliable.
  • Please have a draft of your resume available during the workshop. If you don't have one prepared, check out our resume templates on the Career Services website.
