STEM Career Recruitment Day Networking + REDBLACKS Game

When: October 3 - Networking event starts at 5pm, and continues throughout the game, game starts at 7:30pm
Who this is for: Open to technology and engineering students in all years
What you will get out of it: Bring your resume! Meet and network with Ottawa employers to learn about career opportunities, plus enjoy a REDBLACKS football game!
Location: TD Place Stadium Log Cabin, Lansdowne Park (students are required to find their own transportation to TD Place)

Tell a classmate and take part in this unique opportunity to network with STEM employers and other students from the University of Ottawa, La Cite, and Algonquin College! 

At this event, you will connect with top tech companies Ross Video, CIRA, and Ciena. Whether you're a co-op student, a graduating student, or an alumni, this is a chance to discuss potential co-op/internship positions and new grad employment opportunities.

The recruitment/networking portion of this event will start at 5pm in the Lower Log Cabin with the REDBLACKS game to follow when they take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders at 7:30pm.

What to Expect

  • Networking opportunities and initiating conversation with representatives

  • Listening to representatives either one-on-one or in a group setting

  • Long periods of standing or sitting

How to Prepare

  • Visit the websites to familiarize yourself with the organizations and opportunities available.

  • Come prepared with questions for the representatives.

  • Allocate time in your schedule to attend the event so you can gather valuable information and insights.
