When: Friday, November 21, 12pm-1:30pm
Who this is for: Open to students in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Math, Stats or any other technology-related program. Applicants must be Canadian Citizens and full-time students in Fall 2026, however all students in these target areas may still attend to learn about the opportunities.
What you will get out of it: Learn more about the RCMP and their Cybercrime Investigative Team and the opportunities available to students.
Location: On campus, Room 4050 Nicol Building
Help fight cybercrime in Canada with the RCMP Cybercrime Investigative Team, National Cybercrime Coordination Unit, and the National Child Exploitation Crime Centre. This area:
- Coordinates cybercrime investigations in Canada
- Works with partners internationally to combat a wide range of cybercrime incidents
- Provides investigative advice and guidance to Canadian police
- Produces actionable cybercrime intelligence for Canadian police
The team is seeking innovative, technically skilled students who thrive in collaborative environments. Student positions available are Cyber NetOps Analyst and Cyber Software Developer. Applicants must be Canadian Citizens and full-time students in Fall 2026. Learn more about student positions.

What to Expect
- Students have the opportunity to attend the information session to listen to a presentation from representatives from RCMP Cybercrime Investigate team about their employment opportunities.
- Networking opportunities and initiating conversation with representatives.
- Listening to representatives either one-on-one or in a group setting.
How to Prepare
