Looking for a summer job? Ontario Parks is hiring students for summer 2026!

This session is designed to inspire and inform. Ontario Parks protects ecologically important spaces throughout Ontario - from the shores of Lake Erie up to the boreal forests of Northern Ontario. It takes lots of people working together to preserve these spaces while welcoming visitors from Ontario and beyond. Every summer, Ontario Parks hires 1,600 students to help with this important work.

Whether you are an experienced outdoor enthusiast or new to spending time in nature, Ontario Parks offers a friendly and inclusive environment with opportunities for all skill levels and abilities.

At this session, you will hear about:

  • Overview of Ontario Parks
  • Types of student jobs available
  • Transferable skills that can be gained
  • How to apply

Speakers:

  • Morgan Tompkins, School Outreach Coordinator, Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks
  • Jenny Dallan, Discovery Program Project Coordinator, Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks

Visit Careers at Ontario Parks for information about the summer jobs available and to apply.
