Join us virtually (via MS Teams) for our new CSAS workshop on learning with Generative AI (GenAI)!
This session will be one hour, with the final 30 minutes reserved for Q&A.
This interactive session explores how GenAI can enhance (not replace) your learning. Discover how to use GenAI responsibly, reduce cognitive load, and strike the right balance between offloading tasks and building essential academic skills. We'll also unpack the risks of over-reliance, alongside strategies to maintain academic integrity in an AI-supported world.
In this workshop, you will:
- Describe Generative Artificial Intelligence and list some of its benefits and limitations.
- Identify potential risks of using GenAI in an academic setting.
- Recognize and evaluate responsible strategies for using GenAI tools.
- Apply at least one strategy for using GenAI responsibly.
- Incorporate at least one strategy for using GenAI responsibly this term, in a course that permits GenAI use.
This workshop is NOT eligible for the Incentive Program.
