Science Student Success Centre Workshops & Events

What you will get out of it: Learn how to apply for the DSRI, find a research supervisor, and tips for reaching out to professors!

Have you been invited to apply for a DSRI (Dean's Summer Research Internship) this summer? Come to this workshop to learn all the ins and outs of the application process and have someone look over your application!

Register for this event through mySuccess (Access MySuccess through Carleton360) and click on Science Student Success Centre. This workshop will be offered in-person in 3431 Herzberg. If you are unavailable at the workshop time, please contact the SSSC via email sssc@carleton.ca, and we can go over the workshop with you on an one-on-one basis. 

Note: To have qualified for a Summer 2025 DSRI, students must meet the following criteria:

• 1st year standing (2nd year with transfer credits may be eligible)
• Earned at least 2.0 credits
• Have a CGPA of 11.0 or higher
